HK's rail transit system now gives directions to PHL Consulate General

Filipinos in Hong Kong may soon have an easier time finding the Philippine Consulate General there if they take the Mass Transit Railway.

The Consulate General on Sunday said the MTR management accommodated its request to post signage containing directions to its premises.

In a post on its Facebook account, the Consulate General thanked the MTR management for placing the directional signage of the "Philippine Consulate General" at Exit D of Admiralty station.
"PCG hopes this helps our kababayans find their way to our premises," it said.

A photo posted by the Consulate General on its Facebook page late Sunday showed the signage at Admiralty station, where directions to the Philippine Consulate General were added.

The Hong Kong MTR, established in 1975, is considered as one of the world's most profitable rapid transit railway systems.

It claims to carry an average of 5.1 million passengers every weekday. — LBG, GMA News
