11 Pinay human trafficking victims arrive from Dubai on Valentine’s Day

Eleven Filipinas who were victimized by human traffickers and ended up in stressful situations in Dubai were successfully repatriated on Valentine's Day, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai provided temporary shelter to the women before they left the Middle East, according to DFA Undersecretary Dodo Dulay.
Their exit visa fees, immigration penalties, and airfare were also shouldered by the Philippine government. — Dona Magsino/RSJ, GMA News
