Philippine embassy in Lebanon to blacklist 'no-show' Pinoys in repatriation flights

The Philippine Embassy in Lebanon has announced that Filipinos who have signed up in the government's voluntary repatriation program but fail to board their flights will be blacklisted. "Ang chartered flights at commercial flights sa ilalim ng Free Voluntary Mass Repatriation Program ng Pasuguan ay pinopondondohan gamit ang buwis ng mamamayang Pilipino," the embassy said in a statement. The expenses incurred, the embassy underscored, in preparing for the flight from Lebanon to the Philippines come from the coffers of the country. "Kung kaya't ang pag-back out o pag-atras sa flight kapag ikaw ay naaprubahan na at nabayaran na ang iyong mga multa at ang pagiging no-show or hindi pag sipot sa araw ng flight ay malaking pagsasayang sa pondo ng bayan." The embassy said all those who backed out or those who did not show up at their scheduled flights will be blacklisted and will no longer be included in the next Pasuguan flights. -- BAP, GMA News
