Cebu shortens quarantine time for returning, fully vaxxed Pinoys

The Cebu provincial government has decided to shorten the quarantine period for returning overseas Filipinos to the province, provided they are fully vaccinated. A report on “Unang Balita” on Thursday quoted Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia as saying that the seven-day quarantine for returning Pinoys that are fully vaccinated will be shortened to five days. However, Garcia added that returning Filipinos will still undergo RT-PCR test for COVID-19 after the quarantine period. They will be allowed to go home to their families if they get negative test result. Garcia added that the local government is crafting the guidelines for the new policy. —LBG, GMA News
