Philippine consulate office in NY to help Filipinos affected by Ida floods

The Philippine Consulate General in New York will help Filipinos affected by the flooding that submerged New York City due to the remnants of Hurricane Ida. According to a report on Super Radyo dzBB, the Philippine consulate office will help Filipinos whose passports have been damaged by the floods. The consulate will assist the Filipinos in getting their passports renewed without having to secure online appointments. Consul General Elmer Cato said the consulate will also waive consular fees for the affidavit of damage which is a requirement for applicants with damaged or mutilated passports.
