Pinay ‘X-Factor Israel’ winner Rose Fostanes serenades kababayans in France
Rose "Osang" Fostanes, the Pinay caregiver who won in "X Factor Israel" early this year, recently performed for her kababayans in Paris, France, a report on GMA News TV's "Balitanghali" said Monday.
The report said Fostanes received a warm welcome from fellow Filipinos upon her arrival at the airport for her mini-charity concert.
The concert was organized by a group of France-based Filipinos, the report said.
Despite her busy schedule, Fostanes took time to visit the world-famous Eiffel Tower to bond with fellow Filipinos. She even sang a duet with a Filipina named Karen, who has Down Syndrome.
Fostanes, 47, a caregiver in Tel Aviv, surprised viewers of “X Factor Israel” and swept its judges off their feet with soulful renditions of pop songs by the likes of Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera. Her finals song last January 15 was Frank Sinatra's "My Way." — KBK, GMA News
