Pinoy among drug convicts to be executed in Indonesia

MANILA - Indonesia's Attorney General tells Parliament at least one Filipino is among those scheduled to be executed under the country's strict drug laws.
Muhammad Prasetyo did not reveal the names of the prisoners on death row or how many Filipinos are involved.
Two members of the so-called Bali nine, Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan, both Australians, are also scheduled for execution.
There are also others from France, Ghana and Brazil. - ANC

HANOI, Vietnam — Vietnam's foreign ministry condemned on Wednesday China's "brutal behavior" during a violent attack on Vietnamese fishers in the disputed South China Sea. The 10 fishermen were reportedly beaten with iron bars and robbed of thousands of dollars' worth of fish and equipment on Sunday off the Paracel Islands -- an archipelago in the resource-rich waterway claimed by China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia and Brunei.
