DFA: Consular services available in 4 satellite NCR offices on Saturday
Consular services will be available in four satellite offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in the National Capital Region on Saturday, January 17.
In an advisory Monday, the DFA said consular services will be available at the following mall-based satellite offices:
-- DFA NCR–Central in Robinsons Galleria
-- DFA NCR–Northeast in Ali Mall
-- DFA NCR–East in SM Megamall
-- DFA NCR–South in Metro Gaisano Alabang
The DFA, however, reminded the public that DFA Aseana at Macapagal Boulevard and DFA NCR-West in SM Manila will remain closed on January 17 due to activities in those areas related to the visit of Pope Francis.
Under Proclamation No. 936, January 15, 16 and 19 are declared special non-working days in the NCR in light of the activities surrounding the five-day papal visit.
“In compliance with the the proclamation... DFA Aseana and all mall-based DFA Satellite Offices (SOs) in the NCR shall be closed on 15, 16, and 19 January 2015. They will also be closed on 18 January 2015, a Sunday,” the DFA said.
It added that those with passport related queries may send their e-mails to passportconcerns@dfa.gov.ph.
