No consular services in NCR during papal visit –DFA

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday said its satellite offices in the National Capital Region will be closed from January 15 to 19, 2015 in accordance with Proclamation No. 936.

“There shall be no passport processing, releasing and other related consular services during those dates,” the DFA said in an advisory Tuesday.

Closed on those days are DFA Aseana on Macapagal Boulevard, and all mall-based DFA Satellite Offices in the NCR.

Proclamation No. 936 declares the days of the 2015 visit of Pope Francis in the Philippines as special non-working days in the NCR.

The DFA said those with passport-related queries may send e-mails to passportconcerns@dfa.gov.ph.  —KBK, GMA News
