43 Pinoy fishermen jailed in Indonesia seek payment from employer



At a media briefing in Manila on Monday, 43 Filipino fishermen released from Indonesian jail demand compensation from a giant General Santos City-based fishing firm, which allegedly abandoned them during their six-month detention in Ternate Island, Indonesia. The 'abandonados' arrived in the country on Monday on board a Cebu Pacific flight from Jakarta.
