RUN WITH US: Corporate Institutions Support PhilHealth’s 2nd Nationwide Simultaneous Run

Together we run!
SEVERAL corporate institutions namely the People’s Television Network Inc., Oishi, Smart Communications, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, Air Juan and Maxima Machineries Incorporated, are sponsoring the second simultaneous running event of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) on February 15, 2015 in 13 major sites in the country.
Other sponsors like Pfizer Philippines, Nine Media Corporation, Tupperware Brands Philippines, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Land Bank of the Philippines, Tiger 22 Media Corporation, Philippine Veterans Bank, Businessmirror, Cook Magazine, KFC, Philippines Graphic, Businessworld, Maynilad Water Services, Banco de Oro, Insurance Manila, GT Metro Foundation, and Social Security System, who were part of the 2013 PhilHealth Run shall also support this activity.
Dubbed “PhilHealth Ready, TSeKaP, Go!”, the running event is among the many activities lined-up to mark PhilHealth’s 20th anniversary with the theme “Ensuring Universal Coverage for All Filipinos.”
As partner institutions, the said organizations shall support the PhilHealth Run through sponsorships in cash or in kind. This is in line with their commitment to corporate social responsibility. Said support shall help also boost resources to be turned over to beneficiary-institutions such as the Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and other Special Cases (GRACES) in Quezon City and other 12 local institutions caring for the vulnerable sectors of the society.
“We are happy with the response of our corporate partners. Since we started our simultaneous run in 2013, we were able to promote active, healthy participation nationwide. We look forward to engaging more corporate partners in the coming years as we inspire them to move and be active through our nationwide run,”said PhilHealth President and CEO Alexander A. Padilla.
