PHL Embassy in Washington closed April 2, 3, 9

The Philippine Embassy in Washington will be closed on April 2, 3, and 9.

In an announcement on its website, the embassy noted these dates are Philippine holidays.

April 2 is Maundy Thursday, April 3 is Good Friday, while April 9 is Araw ng Kagitingan.

The Israel-Hamas war raging in Gaza entered its fourth month on Sunday as the army again pounded the besieged Palestinian territory and US top diplomat Antony Blinken was back in the region seeking to avoid a wider escalation.
