PHL Embassy in Malaysia seeks probe into death of Filipina killed in house fire
The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur asked Malaysian authorities to look into the death of a Filipina in a fire in Johor Bahru.
According to the embassy in a statement, Ruby Lloren was killed when her house was set on fire, allegedly by a robber who entered the house last Tuesday.
Lloren's Malaysian husband was said not to be at home when the incident happened.
“The Embassy, through its Police Attaché, has asked Malaysian police authorities for a full investigation of the tragic incident, particularly how and why Ms. Lloren was ‘trapped’ inside the burning house,” the Embassy said.
