54-year-old Fil-Canadian seeking help in finding Pinay mom

Mullen recently discovered that she was adopted and that her mother was a Filipina, according to a report of 24 Oras' Rida Reyes.



As she is based in Canada, she used Facebook as a means to search for her mother and created a community page named “Help Mary Ann find her mother.”

Mullen posted a picture of her holding a poster that mentioned her mother's name as Constancia T. Hernandez, believed to be 74 years old at present.

The picture went viral and has over 3,000 likes and 17,000 shares as of posting time.

Reyes tracked down the hospital in Sta. Mesa where Mullen was born and verified with the records section the information that the Fil-Canadian posted.

The hospital records listed Constancia's address in Pasay City.

However, when Reyes visited that area, the residents said there was no one by the name of Constancia Hernandez there.

Reyes also tried asking the Commission on Elections for a possible lead but upon checking their database, there was no registered user with a name of Constancia Hernandez.
