38 OFWs with troubled employment return from Kuwait

At least 38 overseas Filipino workers who had problems with their employment in Kuwait flew back and landed in the Philippines early Tuesday.

The OFWs' problems ranged from non-payment of salaries to maltreatment by employers.

The workers, all of whom were women, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport aboard a Gulf Air flight and were welcomed by teams from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported.

The OWWA, which had assisted the workers with their travel documents, will try to find new employment for workers. — DVM, GMA News
