A Filipino woman who has gone missing after a fire engulfed a residential high-rise in London is now presumed dead by the city's Metropolitan Police, the Philippine Embassy in the United Kingdom said Sunday.
In a post on its Facebook page, the embassy said that Ligaya Moore has not yet been found and is now "included by the MetPolice as among those presumed to have perished in the Grenfell Tower tragedy."
According to Sen. Joel Villanueva, Moore is over 60 years old and had been residing on either the 17th or 21st floor of the building. Villanueva had asked for help finding her as she is a member of the Jesus is Lord church, which had been founded by his father, Bro. Eddie Villanueva.
