Pinay tourist missing in Bali since Christmas — DFA

A Filipina tourist has been missing in Bali, Indonesia since Christmas, the Department of Foreign Affairs said Wednesday.
Ella Balmaceda Paaño, a resort worker in Coron, left for Bali on December 22 and was supposed to have returned to the Philippines on December 28.
"Paaño’s mobile phone cannot be contacted and her last Facebook post was on December 24," the DFA said in a statement.
The Philippine Embassy in Indonesia has sought the assistance of authorities in locating the 25-year-old Filipina.
A missing person report for Paaño was filed by the embassy after her family in the Philippines reported losing contact with her since December 25.
Paaño’s sisters traveled to Manila from Camarines Sur on Tuesday to request the assistance of the DFA in finding her.
