Pinoys in HK prepare to celebrate PHL independence June 8
Filipinos in Hong Kong will mark Independence Day four days in advance on June 8, the Philippine Consulate General there said.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Consulate General said the "Kapangyawan Festival" will be held at Chater Road from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Among the activities for the day are a cultural parade, a "sayaw Pinoy" street dancing, rickshaw floats, and a "Pinoy Concert."
The Consulate General also said guests at the event include the Hong Kong Police Band and the HK Dragon Dancers.
