2 Pinoys die from heart attacks during Hajj – NCMF


Two Filipino Hajj pilgrims died in Mecca, Saudi Arabia this year, according to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
The first one was identified as 57-year-old Sarapia Abalimbona Taha from Lanao del Sur who was pronounced dead on Friday.
Taha collapsed while entering the Masjidil Haraam. Her cause of death was likely a heart attack, according to the NCMF Medical Team Head Dr. Abdulnasser Masorong Jr.
The other pilgrim who died was identified as 66-year-old Enting Tungao Kamensa. He was from Maguindanao.

Kamensa collapsed inside the Masjidil Haraam on Sunday due to a suspected heart attack.
The pilgrims' remains were brought to Al Noor Hospital and King Faisal Hospital, respectively.
Their families have also been informed of their demise and the NCMF extended its sincerest condolences — Dona Magsino/DVM, GMA News
