OFWs dismantle tents at PHL consulate in Jeddah



Temporary tents set up by undocumented OFWs more than six months ago outside the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia are removed on Tuesday, October 22, after the Department of Foreign Affairs promised them a new shelter area. Kuwait officially launches Sahel app in English ---- KUNA

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Minister of State for Communication Affairs Omar Al-Omar announced on Tuesday the launch of the English version of “Sahel” app, as part of government’s efforts to digitalize and facilitate services. The announcement was made during the Cabinet’s weekly meeting held at Bayan Palace, under the chairmanship of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
