Pinay in Japan recalls Hagibis experience: 'Ang lakas po talaga niya'

A Filipina residing in Japan recounted her experience with the deadly Typhoon Hagibis which made landfall over the weekend.
Maririnig mo 'yung ugong mula sa dagat," said Didz Ubas during an interview ion Unang Balita on Monday.
She said she thought their house would collapse because of the typhoon which claimed at least 35 lives in Japan.
Luckily, she said, local authorities did not lack in giving public advisories about Hagibis. She said this allowed her to stock up on food.
She added that rain is still being experienced in Japan but the weather has already calmed down.
According to Department of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Elmer Cato on Sunday, the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo informed that no Filipino was hurt or killed due to Typhoon Hagibis. —Dona Magsino/KBK, GMA News
