PhilHealth Express opens in Tagbilaran, Dumaguete



Speed, convenience and customer delight! This is what the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) hopes to achieve with the launching of its PhilHealth Express concept.
Now open at Island City Mall in Tagbilaran City and at Robinsons Place Dumaguete City, PhilHealth Express offers member services such as processing of applications for membership or registration, requests for correction or updating of member information, issuance of the Member Data Record (MDR) and PhilHealth ID, and scheduled receipt of premium payments.
PhilHealth Express is a strategic approach to bringing services closer to the people by making basic frontline services available at vital traffic hubs such as malls and shopping centres.
This year, PhilHealth-Region 7 has opened seven PhilHealth Express sites throughout Central Visayas. With a larger population and a profusion of malls and shopping centres, five PhilHealth Express serve the province of Cebu—J Centre Mall and Pacific Mall in Mandaue City has one PhilHealth Express each; then Ayala Center Cebu, SM City Cebu and Robinsons-Fuente in Cebu City.
In Oriental Negros, PhilHealth Express Robinsons Place Dumaguete is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It collects premium payments every Wednesday and Friday until 3:00 p.m.
Island City Mall PhilHealth Express in Tagbilaran is the seventh addition to the chain. It is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with cashiering services every Thursday up to 3:00 p.m.
