DFA: Applications for travel, recruitment agency accreditation till July 31

Travel and recruitment agencies will have until July 31 this year to seek accreditation from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Applications, both new and renewal, may be brought to the Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) at Aseana Business Park in Parañaque City or any DFA Regional Consular Office.

"Interested parties may file an application until 31 July 2014. Late applications shall not be accepted,"it said.

The DFA said accredited travel agencies may file prescribed requirements along with the applications for the renewal of their current DFA accreditation.

First-time applicants, meanwhile, should secure a list of requirements and a copy of the revised conditions and requirements for accreditation with the DFA of Travel and Recruitment Agencies and Their Liaison Officers from the Accreditation Unit of the Passport Division at DFA-OCA

This will give them an idea of the documentary and procedural requirements, the DFA said.
