PhilHealth Offices Receive CSC Seal of Excellence Award



FOURTEEN Local Health Insurance Offices  (LHIOs) and two  Regional Offices of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) were recently conferred by the Civil Service Commission with the Citizens’ Satisfaction Center Seal of Excellence Award for 2014.

Five (5) NCR LHIOs namely Mandaluyong, Manila, Makati, Las Piñas and Pasig, LHIO San Pablo in Laguna, LHIOs Solano, Santiago, Ilagan and Tuguegarao in Cagayan Valley, LHIO Palawan, LHIO Tagbilaran in Bohol, LHIO Zamboanga City, PhilHealth Regional Office ARMM, LHIO Marawi and PhilHealth Regional Office V in Legazpi City were formally recognized for the excellent frontline servicing exhibited in the past year. 

Earlier this year, the CSC also awarded the Seal of Excellence to LHIO Catbalogan in Samar and PhilHealth Cordillera Autonomous Region’s LHIO AbraLHIO Mt. ProvinceLHIO Baguio City and Business Center for Apayao.

The Seal of Excellence award is given by the CSC to government service offices that have demonstrated exemplary frontline service delivery.  Recipients of the Seal of Excellence award must  obtain an Excellent rating in the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) compliance, and should have no valid and unresolved ARTA-related complaints based on the Contact Center ng Bayan data. 

Lubos akong nagagalak at nagpapasalamat dahil sa tiwala at pagkilala ng komisyon sa natatanging serbisyong ipinamalas ng aking mga kapwa kawani sa PhilHealth ”, said Alexander A. Padilla, PhilHealth President and Chief Executive Officer.“Nawaý patuloy na maging inspirasyon sa lahat ng empleyado ng gobyerno ang pagkilalang ito ng komisyon,” he added.

Each office received a glass seal bearing the “Seal of Excellence” and a cash reward amounting to P100,000.00. The cash reward will be used to further enhance service delivery for its clients.

For the year 2014, 66 PhilHealth Offices nationwide were recognized by the CSC for having achieved “Excellent” ratings in the ARTA Report Card Survey. (END)
