Human Trafficking : Man Disguised As Boxers Nabbed at NAIA

Man arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport over human trafficking charges. According to reports, undocumented workers were disguised as boxers to go to Dubai, UAE.
A certain Rexsan Naval Godala, with two companions, were caught before they boarded a flight going to Bangkok last October 2. Godala allegedly introduced himself as a boxing trainer and his two companions were supposed boxers. They were wearing jersey with Philippine Flag logo.
According to the Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, they showed a false letter of authority signed by Games and Amusement Board chairman Abraham Mitra.
Morente added that the three were supposed to have a connecting flight going to Dubai where they are hired to work as household help and waitress.


Further investigation were conducted at the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT). Also, Godala escorted two other women also disguised as boxers last September 14 and three others last August 28 but did not returned to the Philippines despite Godala saying that the they will return within two days.
