No Filipinos affected by Hurricane Matthew —DFA

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday said that no Filipinos were affected by Hurricane Matthew which killed hundreds in Haiti before hitting the southeastern part of the United States.
"So far we have not received report of any Filipino affected by Hurricane Matthew," DFA spokesperson Charles Jose said in a text message.
Reports said at least 900 people were killed due to Hurricane Matthew's lashing in Haiti.
The hurricane also caused major flooding and widespread power outages in the southeastern part of the US.
At least four people were killed due to the hurricane in Florida. —ALG, GMA News
