No Pinoys reported among US tornado casualties
There are no Filipinos among the casualties caused by tornados that hit Oklahoma and other areas in the US midwest, Philippine officials in the United States said Tuesday (Manila time).
Nevertheless, in a post on Twitter, Philippine Consul General in Chicago Leo Herrera-Lim said they will "continue to monitor [the] situation as more bad weather [is] expected in US Midwest."
Earlier reports said tornados destroyed homes and plowed through Oklahoma and the Midwest on Sunday and Monday.
A report on cable news channel CNN said at least two people were killed in the whirlwinds.
