2 Pinay nurses killed in car crash in Australia —DFA

Two Filipina nurses were killed, while five others were hurt in a car crash in Australia, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Saturday.
In a report on News TV Live, the DFA was quoted as extending its condolences to the families of the two nurses, who were on their way to Melbourne to attend a religious event when the incident happened.
The death of the two were confirmed by the Philippine Embassy in Canberra, but their identities were not immediately revealed.
The DFA said the victims were active in the Filipino community in Australia.
Hurt in the car crash were the husband of one of the nurses, as well as three children and one of their relatives.
An investigation is still ongoing as of this posting. — MDM, GMA News
