Utah cops nab Pinoy over shooting incident that left 1 dead


A Filipino suspect has been arrested in Utah over a shooting incident that resulted in one fatality, GMA News’ Unang Balita reported Wednesday.
Utah police said Jonathan Llana (a Filipino) fired shots while on a vehicle on an interstate highway on May 22.
An American driver was declared dead on the spot, and his companions were wounded.
Authorities chased Llana and arrested him after his getaway car (which was stolen) fell into a ditch.
Llana is facing murder and attempted murder cases.
An investigation is underway to determine Llana’s motive for the the shooting. —Joviland Rita/LBG, GMA News
