POEA warns OFWs vs. fake Facebook accounts
Philippine labor officials on Monday warned prospective overseas Filipino workers against fake social networking accounts that may contain spurious job offers.
The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration said this after such a page surfaced on social networking site Facebook.
It said one of the latest fake pages was "POEA Job Agency Hiring," which as of Monday morning appeared to have been taken down.
POEA said that Facebook page was "not owned or maintained" by it.
