Jersey City shines spotlight on outstanding Fil-Am entrepreneurs

The Jersey City Fil-Am Chamber of Commerce (JCFACC), in celebration of its 8th anniversary, is conducting the 2014 Entrepreneurs of the Year Awards and Gala to recognize outstanding achievements of business owners.

According to JCFACC president Lito Gajilan, the distinctive award is presented to a business owner for business acumen while contributing to the welfare of the community. The award also serves to encourage the development of talent and leadership of Filipino American entrepreneurs.

The 2014 Entrepreneurs of the Year Awards and Gala will be held on Sunday, November 23 at the Chart House Restaurant, Pier D-T Lincoln Harbor (1700 Harbor Boulevard), Weehawken, NJ 07086. A cocktail reception will start at 12 noon. Donation is $80 per person.

The JCFACC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian and nonpolitical organization founded in November 2006 in Jersey City, New Jersey. One of the purposes of the JCFACC is to serve as the voice of the Filipino-American business owners in Jersey City in matters of commerce, industry and development.
