PHL Embassy in Singapore’s consular section closed Nov. 18-19

Filipinos in Singapore may not be able to conduct transactions with the Philippine Embassy there this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 18 and 19.

In an announcement, the embassy said its consular section will be closed on those dates "for official matters."

"The Embassy will not receive lodgements of visa applications and notarial documents. However, the Embassy will only (a) process passport appointments and (b) release passports, visas and notarized documents scheduled for release," it said.

Meanwhile, it said its consular section will release documents from noon to 4:30 p.m. starting Monday, Nov. 17.

Documents for expedited same-day release will be received only from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while expedited documents lodged from 9 a.m. to noon will be released starting 2 p.m.

Expedited documents lodged from noon to 3 p.m. will be released starting 4:30 p.m., while expedited documents lodged from 3 to 5 p.m. will be released the following day staring 10 a.m.  Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
