129 repatriated OFWs from Saudi Arabia arrive in Manila

The 129 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who were repatriated from Saudi Arabia arrived in Manila on Wednesday morning.
The OFWs were on board PR683 which landed at 10:10 a.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 in Pasay City.
They were greeted by Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III and Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr.
President Rodrigo Duterte is also expected to interact with them.
Thousands of OFWs lost their jobs and have been stranded in Saudi Arabia as the prices of oil hit their lowest in over a decade.
Most of the affected OFWs also have not received pay from their employers. —ALG, GMA News
