Fil-Am mother among dead in Brussels terror attacks

A Filipino-American woman was among those killed in the March 22 terrorist attack at Brussels Airport in Belgium, online reports said.
Gail Minglana Martinez, 41, was with her husband and four kids when the incident happened, according to a report on NBC News.
Her husband, Lt. Col. Kato Martinez of the US Air Force, remains in the ICU while their children are also being treated in a hospital in Brussels, the report added.
The Martinez family are based in Corpus Christi, Texas. The couple had just celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary.
report on New York Times saisd Corpus Christi Representative Blake Farenthold confirmed Gail's death in a statement on Wednesday.
A total of 32 people died in the attacks on Brussels carried out by terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State.
Gail's brother told NBC station KRISTV on Tuesday that his sister was "special to so many people. She blessed people's lives and made this world a better place." —Rie Takumi/KBK, GMA News
