Pinay maid in Jeddah sent home after she was caught in room with boyfriend

JEDDAH — A Filipina domestic helper here was sent home after her employer caught her in a room with her boyfriend.
In an interview with GMA News, Welfare Officer Rosemarie Cleofe, who handled the case, said the employer brought the Filipina to the Philippine Consulate here on May 31.
According to Cleofe, the employer claimed he caught the Filipina having sex with her boyfriend in her room.
Cleofe said it was good that the employer did not press charges against the Filipina and just agreed to send her home.
Saudi Arabia has strict rules against unmarried couples being together.
The Filipina, in an interview with GMA News before she was sent home, said she deeply regrets what she did.
She admitted bringing her boyfriend, who is also a Filipino and whom she met in a place frequented by Filipinos, to her employer's house, but denied they were having sex when caught.
She also said she was lucky her employer did not hurt her or bring her to court. —Ronaldo Concha/KBK, GMA News
