PHL Embassy brings passport assistance to DOHA hospital

The Philippine Embassy in Doha, Qatar, has provided passport assistance in a hospital specializing in women and child healthcare.
Personnel from the embassy brought passport data capturing machine to Sidra Medical and Research Center on March 4, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The team facilitated the capture of photo and passport data of one baby Gabrielle as she could not be brought by her parents to the embassy because she has been placed under incubation since her birth in December 2018 for being prematurely born.
Qatar immigration policy requires that a newly-born expatriate child should be able to acquire an appropriate visa within three months from birth to avoid immigration fines. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA News
