Abused OFW from Kuwait returns home in GenSan

The overseas Filipino worker (OFW) admitted to a mental hospital after suffering horrific abuse at the hands of her employer in Kuwait has finally returned home in General Santos City with her family.
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration officers led by Hans Leo Cacdac escorted the OFW, her mother and sister from the National Mental Health Hospital in Mandaluyong City to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 for their flight home.
Despite her frailty, the OFW appears to be in a stable condition and will be checked by a doctor upon arrival in General Santos City on top of receiving disability and medical assistance from OWWA.
Cacdac said OWWA will not disclose details of the OFW's actual condition.
He assured continued assistance to the OFW until she is fully recovered. Rie Takumi/ALG, GMA News
