Pinoy, German die in Bahrain boat sinking —report

A Filipino and a German died in a boat accident in Bahrain over the weekend.

Divers found the bodies of the two on Saturday morning, Bahrain News Agency reported.

Also, it said the boat sank off King Fahad Causeway on Friday.

Four people survived the accident and were in stable condition the report said, adding that the boat was later taken to the King Fahad Causeway base.

Meanwhile, the accident prompted the Bahrain Coast Guard to remind seafarers to wear life-jackets and take safety precautions. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
