Pinay’s teen daughter falls to death in HK –report

A 15-year-old girl, reportedly the daughter of a British and a Filipina, fell to her death from a building in Hong Kong, Radio Television Hong Kong reported Tuesday.

The RTHK report quoted police as saying the girl was found to be the daughter of a British, 58, and a 53-year-old woman "from the Philippines."

Police have arrested the couple following the incident at a building on Repulse Bay Road.

Citing initial police findings, the RTHK said the girl had been "unhappy with her life," and that she did not have a birth certificate.

"During the course of their investigation, officers discovered that the teenager's 53-year-old mother, who is from the Philippines, had overstayed her visa... Her British husband, who is 58, was suspected of helping his wife to remain in Hong Kong illegally," the RTHK report said.

The RTHK also quoted a police spokesperson as saying officers are looking into the suspected offense of ill treatment of a child. Joel Locsin/KBK, GMA News
