Pinoys in UK advised of delays in passport issuance from Manila
Filipinos in the United Kingdom who applied recently for passports may have to be patient as there will be a delay in the issuance of Philippine passports from Manila.
The Philippine Embassy in the UK issued this advice Tuesday as it said the new passports could take as long as 15 weeks or about four months.
"There is an ongoing delay in the issuance of Philippine passports from Manila. New passports may only be available at the Embassy about 12-15 weeks after filing the application," it said.
It said Philippine passport holders should "take this into account in timing their passport applications and/or making travel plans."
