79-yr-old Fil-Am nabbed at NAIA for one box of bullets

A 79-year-old Filipino-American was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Tuesday for possession of bullets.
The Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group (Avsegroup) identified the Fil-Am as Rufino Rondaris, a native of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
A radio dzBB report said Rondaris was arrested at the NAIA Terminal 2 for possession of one box of bullets.
Rondaris, meanwhile, denied that he owned the bullets. He said that if the bullets were his, it should have been detected at the Los Angeles airport where he came from.
He said he is a retired United States Air Forces serviceman at he travels back to the Philippines at least twice a year.
The Avsegroup said Rondaris will be detained at its office pending the filing of charges against him. —ALG, GMA News
