Blind Pinay singer moves French talent show judge to tears

A judge on "La France a un incroyable talent" (France Got Talent) was moved to tears by the performance of a visually-impaired Filipina singer in an episode aired November 1 (France time).
Katchry Golbin, also known as Aliènette Coldfire, caused French singer Hélène Ségara to shed a few tears and left the other judges — French-Algerian choreographer Kamel Ouali, comedian Gilbert Rozon, and magician Eric Antoine — in awe.

The 25-year-old sang the French version of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables" and advanced to the next round of the reality singing show.
French website Pure People reported that Golbin began singing at the age of five.
Her love of music eventually lead her to study French with her friends through the Internet as Edith Piaf's "La Vie en rose" made her want to understand its lyrics.
Golbin first caught the attention of the internet with her rendition of Mariah Carey's version of "I'll Be There" in 2014, the year the world reknowned pop singer brought her "Elusiv Chanteuse" show to Manila. Rie Takumi/KBK, GMA News
