150 Pinoys evacuated from Yemen to arrive Saturday

MANILA – Two more batches of Filipino repatriates from Yemen are expected to arrive in Manila on Saturday, the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.The two batches composed of 150 Filipinos flew out of Riyadh on Friday.
The first batch of 50 repatriates will arrive at 10:05 a.m. on board Philippine Airlines flight PR 655, while the second batch of 100 repatriates will land at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport via Cebu Pacific flight 5J741 at 3:40 p.m.
“At present, 413 Filipinos have been evacuated out of Yemen. Tomorrow's arrivals will bring the total number of Filipinos who returned to the Philippines to 246. Meanwhile, an estimated 458 Filipinos still remain in Yemen,” the DFA said.
The DFA once again reiterates its call to Filipinos remaining in Yemen to return to the Philippines as soon as possible.
“The DFA advises our kababayans to immediately get in touch with the Crisis Management Team (CMT) currently deployed in Yemen to register for repatriation. The CMT can be contacted through telephone numbers +967 73 019 4165, +967 73 742 6292, +967 73 384 4958, and +967 73 845 1828, and via e-mail to cmt-sanaa@riyadhpe.com,” the DFA stated.
