PHL Embassy in UK closed May 1, 4, 25

The Philippine Embassy in the United Kingdom will be closed on three days in May due to Philippine and UK holidays.

In an announcement on its website, the embassy said it will be closed on:

- May 1, Friday: Labor Day (Philippine holiday)
- May 4, Monday: Early May Bank Holiday (UK holiday)
- May 25, Monday: Spring Bank Holiday (UK holiday)

The embassy said regular office hours will resume on May 5 and 26.

But in case of death or detention of a Filipino in the United Kingdom, the embassy may be contacted via emergency mobile phone at 078-0279-0695. — Joel  Locsin/LBG, GMA News
