OFW's musical brainchild now on its seventh installment in UAE

For the seventh time, UAE-based Filipino worker Ronald Galvez has set up a musical event for OFWs like him, this time collaborating with a freelance producer for it.
"Our local artists here are more motivated playing with international artists. They feel another level in live music presentation while sharing the stage with them," shared the 39-year-old graphic communications manager in Al Futtaim Group via email, justifying his decision.
"The event on April 27 will feature Mikey Bustos, a Filipino-Canadian singer and comedian; the Rouge Band, an all-female rock band; and guest radio personality, Tina Ryan," Galvez added.
It will be opened by the Pearlipinas and the ElectroCats.
"The music community here in Dubai is supporting every Filipino artist/musician in promoting their show internationally," Galvez said. "As a community leader, I am committed on creating musical platform for local and international Filipino talents and to other expats in Dubai as well. I always wanted to help them find the unique moments in their music and live performances."
The seventh edition of the Sessions DXB will take place at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium along Oud Metha Road, Dubai. —Lucky Mae F. Quilao/KBK, GMA News
