Pinoys in HK blast PHL's labor export policy in Labor Day rally

HONG KONG — Some 200 Filipinos gathered in front of the Philippine Consulate here on Sunday to protest the Philippines' labor export policy that they said forces many Filipinos to leave their families and work abroad.
The picket, attended by mostly domestic workers, was their way of marking this year's celebration of International Labor Day. It was led by United Filipinos in Hong Kong, Bayan Hong Kong at Macau, and Gabriela.
The groups also slammed the Duterte administration for allegedly failing to fulfill its promise of ending contractualization in the Philippines.
—KBK, GMA News
