A Filipino Muslim from Davao celebrates Eid'l Fitr in Kuwait

KUWAIT - Anwar Basilio, from the Kaagan tribe of Davao, is a Muslim since birth. He has been an OFW for 11 years in Kuwait, where he lives with his wife, Miraflor Macaua Getutua also from Kaagan tribe, and their two children who were born here. Anwar is the building supervisor in our accommodation. He invited us in their simple celebration of Eid'l Fitr after seeing my photo essay published on GMA News Online. He celebrated the occasion along with other OFWs who also come from the Kaagan tribe in Davao.
