PRC to hold special licensure board exams in Saudi this weekend

A delegation from the Professional Regulation Commission will hold special licensure examinations for Filipinos in Saudi Arabia this weekend.

The PRC delegation led by Director Josephine Liamzon arrived in the Kingdom last September 29 for the Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations in Riyadh and Al-Khobar.

In a statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs said the exams will be held from October 3 to 5, in Riyadh and Al-Khobar.

"This year, PRC is expecting 656 examinees from Riyadh and 407 examinees in Al-Khobar. The examination will be held at the International Philippine School in Riyadh (IPSR) and International Philippine School in Al-Khobar (IPSA)," it said.

Heading the Riyadh group is lawyer Eugenio Riego II while the Al-Khobar Group will be headed by Liamzon.

Prospective examinees had registered with the Philippine embassy from September 29 to October 1.

On hand to assist the representatives from the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office are volunteers from the Philippine Professional Organization.  Joel Locsin/JDS, GMA News
