Postpone visits to PHL Embassy in UK until after Dec. 19
After Dec. 10, Filipinos in the United Kingdom may want to postpone their transactions with the Philippine embassy there until after Dec. 19.
The embassy said this is due to the repainting of some of its public areas, which could disrupt some consular services.
"If you are able to postpone your visit to the Embassy until after the completion of the repainting, the Embassy encourages you to do so. Otherwise, please bear with any inconvenience caused due to the repainting, as the Consular Section may have to move to a smaller area and queues may have to be formed outside the building and under the elements," it said.
It said its contractual obligations in the lease of its premises requires it to have its premises' interior repainted every four years.
